The Tea Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1997, with a goal of bringing businesses to Tea, creating jobs and making the city a better place to work and live.

TEDC, governed by nine volunteer board members, is funded by the city and functions as a chamber of commerce providing information to prospective new businesses, sponsors ribbon cuttings and newspaper coverage for new local businesses, sponsors a mixer for business owners in the spring and hosts an annual banquet in December.

TEDC is conducting a membership drive to encourage community businesses to be active in Tea economic development.  For a nominal fee of $50 annually, businesses may become voting members of the Economic Development group and have available endless networking sources.

The TEDC thanks businesses for their support and looks forward to working together in the future.  This is an exciting time for area businesses to become a member and work together to achieve your goals and maintain a “Growing Tradition.”
